   The 2011 Oak Island Open Pier Fishing Tournament  is a unique pier fishing tournament that lets participants fish for their favorite catch, or fish for all species found around a pier.  Participants may fish from Ocean Crest Pier or Oak Island Pier (Yaupon Pier) Both piers will carry a blanket fishing license for all fisherman.

Fishermen may enter one or all three of the species categories. Anglers are only eligable to win one primary and one secondary prize.

NEW - Oak Island Open "Youth" Pier Tournament

In 2007 the Oak Island Open Youth Pier Tournament was born. We had tremendous participation from parents and youth from around the state. In 2011 we will again offer the OKI Open "Youth" Tournament, with some new improvements and more prizes and fun for all!


 

Category One:
Spot, croaker, whiting, spade, atlantic pompano, pin

Category Two:
Spanish, blue, grey trout, speckled trout, red drum, black drum, flounder, sheepshead

Category Three:
King mackeral, cobia, jack crevalle, amberjack, tarpon

   Junior Angler:
